I am Pip, owner of The Art of the North, based in West Yorkshire in the North of England. My portraits are created using a simple black biro pen and are drawn over old maps that relate to the individuals.

The people I have chosen to draw are some of my favourite legends and icons of music, stage, screen, literature, and sport. I am working through an extensive list, more of my favourites and suggestions from other people.
