Simone's illustrations are inspired by family life, vintage finds and mid century children's book illustration.

She is fascinated by and interested in many areas of creativity including, Fine Art, Typography, Art and Graphic Design history, Architecture, interiors and Children's Publishing. Simone's illustrations are created using a number of different mediums - including lino printmaking, gouache painting and digital techniques.
